We are going to test it this week and I will get back to you with news on how it goes...

  1. Hi
I'm a Stereo 3D editor and I recently saw some materiel shot with a very similar rig attached to a bicycle helmet on a cyclists head. Unfortunately the materiel was not good 3D because the interocular was too big. These little cameras have a wide angle lense so you have to make the interocular smaller. I would suggest inverting one of the cameras to get the lenses closer together, then correct the inverted picture in your edit software. (I use SGO Mistika) This may involve re-working the mount but I think it will get you a usable result. Cheers. Ross Copeland

  2. Nice one Ross.
We tried your suggestion and things looked great.
These are a great low cost solution.
and if you don't have SGO Mistika money, you can still get these to work on a lo budget, within limitations of course!
    cheers
